Viaduct 3 over Pisuerga river in the high speed railway line to north Spain
AR2V INGENIERÍA was responsible for the full detail design of the viaduct and assisted the contractor, Ferrovial, during the works.
The viaduct V3 over Pisuerga River consists of a post-tensioned concrete box girder over a length of 1330 m without expansion joints. It shows a full depth of 3,50 m, spanning 55,5 m on 25 spans. A movable shuttering system (MSS) was used during the construction of the deck for an in-situ span-by-span erection sequence.
