New cable stayed Champlain bridge over St Lawrence river (Montreal)

Cable stayed bridge Samuel de Champlain in Montreal (Canada) replaces the old one that cross the Saint Lawrence river.

This 3.000 m long viaduct consists of a Cable Stayed Main Bridge and a West an East Approach Viaducts supporting three steel-concrete composite decks, 50 m wide.

AR2V supported the wellknown German firm Leonhardt, Ändra und Partner conducting an Independent Design Check.
